Capable of delivering 3600W RMS—and 7200W peak—the RCF SUB 9007-AS is an active subwoofer. It provides two 21" neodymium woofers with 4.0" inside-out voice coils, and as such, can deliver low frequencies within live sound applications, such as clubs, ballrooms, and houses of worship.
The unit operates between 25 and 400 Hz, giving you a DSP-controlled input section that allows you to choose among presets and modify delay settings. It can handle over 141 dB SPL, making it an apt choice for reasonably loud environs. XLR connections are provided, and input signals can be either balanced or unbalanced, further expanding the unit's versatility. Ethercon connections allow it to integrate within RCF's RDNet remote control system, allowing you to change settings over a network.
Controls are offered for Gain, EQ, Crossover, Phase Switch, Cardioid, and Output Delay. The SUB 9007-AS' cabinet is fashioned out of Baltic birch and capped with a steel grille. This unit pairs well with RCF D-Line HDL50-A and HDL-20A array systems.
